City - Environment Art

My main goal for this project was to strengthen my understanding of level design by approaching it from an environment artist's perspective. This project definitely helped me better understand the technical and artistic constraints of building a modular kit and creating an environment in Unreal Engine. 

 

This was my first time creating a game-ready environment and I really enjoyed learning the process of quad modeling assets, creating LOD's and custom collision meshes. This was also my first time learning how to make procedurally generated materials in Substance Designer.
